In 2007, Pixel Chix debuted its largest toy yet with Pixel Chix Roomies (L4416). The concept of the game included external Pixel Pal figures, which could unlock more gameplay features. All of the Pixel Pals are roommates in this game!
The game starts with the original Pixel Pal who does not have a figure, in which the additional figures can be added for a total for six roommates in the game. The objective is to earn points by playing games and cleaning your room. In games mode, games can be played regardless of the number of characters available, but a challenge requires two or more characters. Only one character can be the "active" character at a time. The active character is the only one who can earn points during games, and can also lose points by neglecting household chores. The Gal who obtains 16 points gets to become the queen of the house. The queen gets to stay in the master bedroom, use the master bathroom and unlock a surprise.
This line featured a large Roomies House (L4416) with six rooms, and each house came with a Miss Sporty figure. The line also included five other Roomies Friends (L4458) that were each sold separately. The Roomies that were available are Miss Sporty (L4416), Diva Queen (L4459), Punk Rocker (L4460), Super Smarty (L4461), and DJ Hip Hop (L4462). Each house came with a special headphone jack cord to connect to devices such as a computer, MP3 player, or CD player. By connecting to the computer, secret codes from the Pixel Chix website could be used to unlock surprises in the Roomies House gameplay.

- Chris Crawford was the lead animator for the development of the electronic toy.
- The art of Pixel Chix: Roomies was completed two weeks before the deadline.
- Even though the Roomies Friend has its own product code of L4458, all five Roomies each had a product code of their own, making the purpose of the former code unclear to those not involved in production.
